Bacon Academy Seniors

Well, we're just a few days away from the start of the 2009-10 school year and some Bacon Academy Seniors from Colchester are looking cool!

I traveling up to Colchester and one of the moms was nice enough to host me at her home...spectacular I might add! There were so many picturesque areas in her yard that I got carried away and just kept clicking away.

Bakes & Baldwin Floral Company at Harkness Park Waterford CT

Yesterday, I had an opportunity to freelance with Bakes & Baldwin Floral Company at Harkness Park in Waterford. Debra asked me to bring my camera along to capture some of the beautiful florals they put together...I'm also a floral designer so when I get the chance to use my floral talents with them, I jump at the chance!

For those of you who don't know Harkness Park, it is a State Park here in Connecticut and is one of the most beautiful venues that I have seen in my 25 years in the floral industry! Pack a picnic lunch and take a drive...the grounds are simple beautiful. and oh yes...I'm also a floral designer and freelance with event designers in addition to my photography!

Danielle and Steve didn't let the heat spoil their beach shoot last nite. With a slight breeze in the air and a whole lot of smiles on their faces I captured some fun shots!

I just had to share more images that I took in Maine. I couldn't miss this photo opt. From the gorgeous dress I found at Urban Objects in New Haven for Annie-jorden to the absolutely beautiful lighting at the beach...I'm having a hard time deciding which ones are my favs!

Evening of the Tornado...

Well who would have thought that a tornado would have struck down in Connecticut on July 31! I was on my way to shoot a wedding and I was trying to follow the limo in the severe rains and winds...UGH!!!! We made it there...and so did the bride!

Luna Luna...in Old Orchard Beach

Well we're in Old Orchard Beach Maine...for our 10th year. If you've never been you have to come. The beach is gorgeous! Before we left, we were in New Haven and I happened upon a shop on Chapel St. called Urban Objects. I found this charming dress for my daughter and new I had to have it to photograph her on the beach.
