A array of aubergine colors filled the room at my recent floral event photography shoot for Lush Floral Designs. The Delamar in Greenwich was the venue...and boy was it luscious! How ironic? LOL
The Milford Camera Club hosted award-winning photographer Stephen Wilkes and his presentation Ellis Island: Ghosts of Freedom. Take a moment to view the link for an "awe -spiring" collection of photographs that were taken of the rooms and hospital complex of Ellis Island. The building had been abandoned and Stephen was granted a photographers dream...5 years to photograph what was! Please note that none of the images were enhance with photoshop. They were strictly exposure and film achieved.
Well, dispite the rain today, I was able to shoot for Lush Floral Designs again. I headed to The Wainwright House in Rye, NY to shoot the first of her wedding venues. Simple vases clustered the tables with hydrangea, dahlias, hypericum and stock. From there I traveled north to Belle Haven Club in Greenwich, CT. Zoe had created a chuppah for the ceremony as well as a majestic display of burgundy and antique green colors on the guest tables. Wished it hadn't rained but they do say rain is good luck...so best wishes to all that were married today!
